Types

A Hillblock may vary in size from 20 cm up to 120 cm, depending on the situation of the revetment and the expected waves. The original block is now called the Hillblock Basisblock (standard). Due to its instant success a whole series of blocks is being developed. In development are the Slimblock for maximal attenuation, the Drainageblock to drain fluids and the Ecoblock with a specific concrete mix and structure to attract ecological developments. In addition the patented Grassblock was developed to be applied on the top; primary or dry side of the revetment. It is a topless block for the stability with a earth layer permitting the growth of grass. So the two combined layers makes the slope even more stable while it has the esthetical look of grass.
